The challenge on this show was the time frame we had to create these garments and complete alterations from purchased and pulled costumes. Clara and myself took reign over the stitchers and apprentices and helped guide them through proper stitching and assembly. Due to the time frame, I also tackled a coat build.

Plaid Wool Vest

Stitched by: Blake James, partially finished by Heather Milam

Wool was flatlined to a broadcloth, a running stitch was added along the plaid stripe to stabilize the fabric.

Fur Coat

Stitched by: Andy Bruening (myself)

The fur was flatlined to a cotton sateen. Each seam was shaved down in the seam allowance for fabric to lay correctly.
